Real Imaginary People
My final book project for the Book Arts and Vandercook Letter Press class I took at Mass Art, Fall 2008. The project is basically a spoof on Facebook. It's a real book about real people...only their profiles are grossly exaggerated.

aw these are like weird fantastical take-off of Whitney's pen drawings! I like! Especially the one with the foot tentacles lol
ah yes. but the difference being that i know these people and they're not from a magazine :D
yeah i like tentacle foot too. thats a cross between JQ and Amy from SACI...meaning its based on them.
These are great! Did you come up with the profiles yourself. I think Fatty Rhubarb is my favorite and I love the drawing with her four fingers held up:)
all the profiles are based on my friends, inside jokes with them, etc (glass q is a combo of two people).
most of the stuff is exaggerated but that was the point of the project. i hope to make more, though the text wont be letter pressed since i dont have access to the press anymore.
