Question for anyone who can answer it

I'm having an issue with Photoshop. Whenever I save my PSD files as jpgs, the colors change and I can't figure out why. They look duller and flatter than they do in the PSD versions. Any suggestions how i can fix this/keep the same color settings?

can you change the color mapping from the start? like try changing it from CMYK to RGB in adjust>mode

i've tried a bunch of different things including changing color modes, fiddling with the color profiles. and none of it seems to work.

.jpegs do not have as many colors available for them to use as .psd's do. To compress the file size down it has to eliminate colors...I found a color gamut example for some different things, but not .jpeg. I hope you get the idea from it though.
