Photoshop colors, pen line drawing
14 x 10 inches ish.
The first real assignment in Computer Illustration was to scan a sketch and use Photoshop to color it, focusing on layers, shading and highlights. I got to use a Wacom Cintiq for the first time and I LOVE it, less frustrating than the tablet (though I do love my tablet still :) ).
This is a sketch of my cousin in India cooking.

Holy crap cakes, this looks awesome Krishna! You did an amazing job with the coloring...and I love the pen drawing as well.
I've never used a Cintiq before, but if I did I'm sure I'd lust after one (even more than I already do).

Thanks Jason!!! i keep reading "holy crap cakes" as "holy crab cakes" which just makes me hungry even though i dont like crab.
cintiqs are pretty amazing. but for now, my regular tablet will have to suffice.
i do quite like working in this manner. I think im going to do it more often.
